Poi Ngatokorua Teei – BA, LLB

Poi has practiced law in Henderson since 1988. Born in the Cook Islands, he is an old boy of Richmond Road Primary and Mt Albert Grammar. He graduated from Auckland University with a BA and LLB. His areas of work include – family, civil, criminal, traffic, District and High Court work, employment and immigration.

Cherie is of Ngapuhi and Ngati Ruanui descent. She graduated in 1994 and has practised law in West Auckland since 2007. Her areas of work include family court work, debt collection, civil matters and wills.

Nelson Augustine – LLB, LLM

Nelson was a barrister in India for many years and undertook a number of cases mainly in the criminal courts. Prior to joining Teei & Associates, he was a legal intern at Chevron, volunteered at Tenants Protection Association, the Waitemata Community Law Centre and in the area of social work in West Auckland. His areas of practice include civil, criminal, traffic & immigration.

Gia Changlani – BBus, LLB

Gia has a double degree in law and business. She completed her LLB at the University of Waikato in 2007 and was admitted to the bar in 2010. She previously worked as a Deputy Registrar at the Manukau District Court and then the Auckland High Court before joining Teei & Associates, Lawyers. Gia works mainly in the area of Family law and has a keen interest in Family Violence and Care of Children issues. Being of Indian descent, Gia is fluent in Hindi and can provide advice in this language if needed. Other than law, Gia enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Linda Matulich – BBus (Accounting)

Linda joined our firm in 2019 to look after our accounts. She is an valuable member of our team who has a huge wealth of knowledge with anything accounting. She works closely with our legal executives and lawyers on conveyancing files and those files involving the transfer of funds.

Trudi Richardson – Legal Executive

Trudi joined our firm in 2016 as our receptionist. She then moved into the role as one of our legal secretaries and in 2021 completed her legal executive course. She now assists Julie with conveyancing and estate files and is looking forward to being able to run her own files. She however still likes talking to clients and will quite often play the role of receptionist when she can.
